This project helps to document the history of the University of Kentucky during much of the twentieth century. Interviews are with former presidents, administration officials, faculty, staff, and alumni of the University. Of particular interest are interviews that document integration of the University both in the classroom and in athletics, Vietnam War protests and activities, the role and evolution of the Extension Service in Kentucky, the role and activities of women students on campus, and the evolution of higher education in Kentucky. |
