Description: This project embraces the memoirs of various participants in the occupation of Japan and in the formulation of its Constitution. Within the overall discussions of occupation programs and policies are specific accounts of social, economic, agricultural, educational, and cultural developments, together with material on the purges and problems of civil rights.
