| Description: |
This audio tape collection was donated to the library by the family of historian Ione Wright. Before her death, Dr. Wright planned to write a history of Pan Am's role in establishing the Pacific airplane routes in the 1930s and 40s. Although she never completed the book, she conducted over 40 interviews with the pilots and Pan Am employees involved in this venture. These interviews survive in our collection and are inventoried below. |
