The Oral History Project is pursuing its work on Christianity and apartheid with research on the leaders of black women's Christian organisations in KwaZulu-Natal. This project is run jointly with the School of Religion and Culture of the University of Durban-Westville (Prof Isabel Phiri). Interviews are currently being conducted in Umlazi, Sobantu and Imbali. It is hoped that the research will be completed by June 2001. |
