Description: It is our feeling that the best way to understand fully the construction of the Dam and life in the Village is to listen to the remembrances of the people who were actually there. So one of the main goals of the Kentucky Dam Village Project was the compilation of an oral history of Kentucky Dam. This consisted of a number of interviews with the men and women involved in the TVA's work. Workers, wives, administrators, children growing up in the village, and others have been interviewed during the course of our work.
