These seven interviews were conducted with members of the George Miller, Jr. family of Crescent City, Florida. Miller, his mother and father, his brothers and sisters, and his six children were all involved in the development of Miller Enterprises, Inc., a conglomerate of supermarkets and convenience stores in the Florida counties of Putnam, Seminole, Orange, Marion, Lake, Bradford, Clay and Volusia. The family history is closely connected with the history of Crescent City and Putnam County, Florida. The interviews were used as source material for Family, Community, Business Enterprise: The Millers of Crescent City, Florida by Edward F. Keuchel and Robin J. Sellers. |
