Interviews conducted in 1980 and 1981 as part of the Rural Development Outreach Project, a component of the University of Guelph. Interviews with men and women who were born between 1890 and 1910 and raised on farms or in small towns in the northern part of Huron County, including Wingham, Howick, Turnburry, Morris, Grey, and East and West Wawanosh townships.
