The John Munroe Papers collection consists of approximately 7 linear feet of material dating from 1851 to 2000, with the bulk of the material from 1917 to 2000. The collection includes much of the writing and correspondence of Professor Munroe, as well as material pertaining to his family, students, historical subjects and colleagues, including correspondence, photographs, publications, etc. The collection includes: photographs, correspondence, clippings, articles, programs, speeches, diaries, typescripts, contracts, lecture notes, periodicals, vitaes, certificates, drawings, reports, grades, flyers, manuscripts, postcards, ballots, autographs, bulletins, newsletters, pamphlets, interviews, Christmas cards, ledgers, settlement accounts, and brochures.
