Description: Judge Tagle describes her education from her early childhood through her time at the UT School of Law, providing information about her experiences and commenting on her lack of awareness of political issues. Judge Tagle describes seeking, and eventually receiving, appointment as a county court judge, and describes her later electoral campaigns to retain the office. She talks at length of her nomination and confirmation as U.S. District Judge, and ends the interview by expressing her personal perspective on the role of judges and her views on Mexican American leadership.
