| Description: |
Following high school and Army service in World War II, Mr. Gans attended Hazleton Technical School on the GI bill. His cable career began by building TV sets from kits and installing antennas to get reception in Hazleton, PA. His first cable build was the end of 1950 in Weatherly, PA. Using his own innovative technologies and those of others, he went on to build and own several cable companies throughout Pennsylvania under the name Cable TV Company. He is one of the original pioneers in the cable industry in terms of both creativity and leadership.
