Today's date is the 23rd of September, 1987. We are at James Wood High School in Winchester, Virginia. The purpose of this interview is to take an imaginary walk back through the career of a retired principal of a public school. During the interview we hope to reconstruct this person's professional history with accuracy and detail. We want to collect his views on the principalship and the educational issues of the period when he was a principal. The subject of this interview is Mr. C.
