Interview conducted on 9-7-1996 with civil rights voting registration activist and Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) field secretary Lawrence Guyot (born 1939). He was also the chairman and delegate of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party to the 1964 Democratic Convention in Atlantic City but was incarcerated while picketing in Hattiesburg.
