| Description: |
This interview took place on March 16, 2000 at the Irish Centre for Migration Studies' office. Following the personal details section of the interview, Stephen discussed some of the reasons why his brothers left Ireland to work in England. He related these to government decisions regarding trans-Atlantic air travel (as one of his brothers worked for Aer Lingus) and the lack of work opportunities in Ireland. Out of seven family members, four of them emigrated, two of whom returned to live in Ireland. All of his children are living in Ireland.
