Description: This is an audio letter recorded by Janet Bryant and other family members and friends and sent to her father, Lieutenant Colonel Deewitt Talmadge Bryant, Jr., while he served in Vietnam. LTC Bryant served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division (the "Screaming Eagles") from October 19, 1967 through October 11, 1968. While in Vietnam, LTC Bryant participated in the TET Counter-offensives Phases III, IV, and V as a Quartermaster Officer and as a Training and Operations Officer.
