(USA) Earl Hobbs served in Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief with B Troop, 1st Squadron, 9th Cavalry from September 1966 to September 1967. His area of operations included the An Lao Valley, the Kin Son Valley, the Bon Son Plain, Phu Cat, Nhi Mieu, the Suoi Ca Valley, Kim Son, Ba Ta, and Duc Pho.
