Description: (USAF) Lt. Col Al Martin served in the US Army Air Corps and USAF for 30 years. From 1969-1970 he commanded an A-1 squadron at Nakhon Phanon, Thailand. He served in the 56th SOW and was commander of the 22nd SOS. He was shot down over northern Laos and picked up by an Air America pilot.
