(USA) James G. Shannon, originally from Canton, Ohio, served in the U.S. Army from 1966 until 1968. Jim went to Vietnam in February 1967 as a Military Policeman with the 272nd MP Company in Nha Trang and Bong Son. Jim left Vietnam in February 1968 and went to Ft. Dix (NJ) in March and then to Ft. Meade (MD) in April where he served as a MP and Provost Marshall Investigator with the 514th MP Battalion until September 1968. OH0241 - part of the Jim Shannon Collection
