(USA) Alan VanDan, originally from Boone Grove, Indiana, served in the U.S. Army and was in Vietnam from April 1968 until June 1969. He served in C Co., 1/12 First Cavalry Air Mobile as a rifleman and point man near Quang Tri and the A Shau Valley between April and December 1968.
