Description: (USAF) Larry Wasserman, originally from Chicago, Illinois, served in the U.S. Air Force for ten years from 1966 until 1976. He did his basic training at Lackland AFB and his advanced training at Sheppard AFB, both in Texas. Larry was in Vietnam from July 1967 until July 1968 and served with the 12th Air Commando Squadron based at Bien Hoa. He was a mechanic for C-123s which took part in Operation Ranch Hand.
