Description: (USN) David A. White, originally from Savannah, Tennessee, served in the U.S. Navy from June 1966 until February 1970. David was in Vietnam from July 1968 until he was wounded and evacuated in March 1969. He served in River Section 544, River Division 593 out of Nha Be in the Mekong Delta as a gunner's mate on various boats, including PBRs. He was in the Run Sat Special Zone and participated in Operation Slingshot. OH0227 - part of the David White Collection
