(ARC) Jennifer J. Young, originally from St. Louis, Missouri, served in the American Red Cross in Vietnam from November 1968 until November 1969. She volunteered to go to Vietnam after graduating from Purdue University in 1968. In Vietnam, Jenny was a "Donut Dollie" based at Dong Ba Thin, Tuy Hoa AB (as Recreation Aide), Cam Ranh AB (as Program Director), and at Camp Enari outside of Pleiku (as Unit Director). A chapter in the book A Time Remembered: American Women in the Vietnam War (Presidio Press, 1999) is dedicated to Jenny's Vietnam experiences. OH0235 - part of the Jennifer Young Collection
