Corine Schow was born in Escalante, Utah on August 29, 1906. She grew up in Escalante during the sheep herding days and later moved to Cedar City and then Salt Lake City where she lived for the rest of her life. She worked at ZCMI department store for many years and was the mother of two daughters.
