Mr. Mayo D. Wilson, a native of Cary, Mississippi, is a graduate of Tougaloo College and a veteran of the Korean War. Following a two-year service in the Army, Mr. Wilson returned to Mississippi where he taught math and science at Coahoma Agricultural High School. In 1966 he became the director of the Coahoma County Head Start Program, a position he maintained until 1971. Currently, Mr. Wilson resides in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
