Description: MG Gibson was born on February 7, 1944. He was raised in Ayden, North Carolina, and commissioned in the Army upon his graduation from the United States Military Academy with the Bachelor of Science degree in 1966. He is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Advanced Course, the Army Command and General Staff College, and the Naval War College. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Management from Webster University and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategy from the Naval War College. His military training includes completion of the Airborne and Ranger Courses at the U.S. Army Infantry School; and the Fixed Wing Aviator, the Rotary Wing Qualification, and the AH-64 Aviator Qualification Courses at the U.S. Army Aviation School.
