Description: "I was inducted in Great Lakes, Illinois. That was my first, that was five weeks and six days. We learned pretty near everything, how to live in the Navy, stuff like that, oh, the terminology they had, like left for port, you have to say port for left and starboard for right. Stuff like that, we learned all that. And of course we had a lot of physical training, calisthenics, we did a lot of calisthenics."
