Description: Julian Luttrell says Dunster castle was a wonderful place to be brought up. The family had been there since 1372 and the house meant so much more than bricks and mortar. He sees it not as a castle, but as a home. He played with his friends, from school or village, spent time with the estate workers, and adapted to the house being a convalescent home in the war.
