Description: Gerald Winzer runs marathons, and has done for 20 years. He is a familiar sight on his daily run across Exmoor, covering nearly 100 miles in a week at the peak of his training. He went in for his first race when he was a teenager, running through the heather on Winsford Hill in grey flannel trousers. When he's not running he looks after his smallholding and is a dedicated player of whist, going to as many as eight whist drives in one week.
