Description: Dodson Moore Curry, a newly wed physician, was just beginning to expand his practice and had started planning his first house when he got the call to serve in the Korean War. Even after he got on a plane for the Far East, Curry still couldn't believe that he was going off to war. Though he was stationed for a time in a field hospital near the front lines, perhaps his most memorable experience in the service was a two-tiered party for servicemen held at a resort hotel in Japan.
