Description: Francisca de Leon emigrated to the US during the Mexican Revolution. She was born in La Dura shortly before he father died while working in the local mines. Her mother and seven children moved to several towns before they found relatives to help them settle in Cananea where they found work to help support themselves. During this time, de Leon observed the results of the Mexican Revolution on her family and the people who lived around them.
