|
| Description: |
After studying law, first at USC and then at George Washington University, Anita Robbins eventually went to work in the early 1920s for the city of Los Angeles as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the Woman's Court. However, typical of married women at the time, she left this post in 1924 to raise a family. She did not resume a legal career after this, but rather remained involved through volunteer work, particularly in women's clubs.
